What's New for the 2019 Nissan Rogue?
The 2019 Nissan Rogue has undergone a number of changes for the new model year. Highlighting the new offerings is the addition of the New Special Edition Package. This package will feature 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated driver's and front passenger seat, heated exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, chrome exterior and interior door handles and roof rails.
2019 Nissan Trims & Features
On the SV trim, there is a new New Premium Package available with 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, ProPILOT Assist and an electronic parking brake. All trims will offer a number of advanced technology features including standard Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection and High Beam Assist (HBA) on all trim levels. With Lane Departure Warning, the vehicle will alert the driver if the vehicle drifts out of its lane without signaling. Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI) will utilize the brakes and the vehicle's steering if the vehicle leaves its lane without signaling. Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection will allow the vehicle to automatically brake if it detects a pedestrian in front of or behind the vehicle. Finally, High Beam Assist (HBA) will automatically activate the vehicle's low beam when it detects another vehicle ahead. Afterward, the HBA system will turn the high beam back on when necessary.
Also, Nissan's innovative Rear Door Alert (RDA) are standard on all trim levels. With rear door alert, the vehicle will activate the horn, use sensors and an onscreen message to alert the driver of any rear seat passengers when the vehicle is turned off.
On the SL and the SV trim levels, Rear Automatic Braking (RAB) and Rear Sonar System are now standard. Finally, the ProPILOT Assist and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels now standard on SL trim. Previously, these features were only available on the SL Premium Package.
